Spice World’s Rs 100-crore Mega Mall & Multiplex is set to be operational from tomorrow in Noida.
The company is looking forward to open multiplexes in Punjab and Haryana. It’s also planning to introduce the same kind of theatre in North America as well. The company is making a Hollywood feature film on the life of the Buddha.
This is MCorp Global’s first step in the entertainment industry.
Talking to Business Standard, Spice World Chief Executive Officer (Noida) Aditya Sikri said, “Noida is one of the fastest-growing cities, and so we wanted to have our presence here. We are looking towards Punjab and Haryana as well. It’s the first step of MCorp Global in the entertainment industry. Spice has teamed up with PVR Cinemas, India’s largest multiplex chain, as ‘Spice PVR Cinemas’. We have also introduced ‘Spice PVR Gold Class’ theatre, which enables a viewer to watch a film while reclining.”

N. India’s largest cineplex in Noida
WITH eight screens and a capacity of 1,821 seating, Spice PVR at Noida’s Sector 25 has become the largest cineplex in North India. The multiplex, a part of the Spice Mall, stands second after PVR-Bangalore, which has 11 screens. ‘‘Our in-house team has worked for two years on this project and it’s very much on the lines of the one in Bangalore,’’ says Sanjeev Bijli, Executive Managing Director, PVR Ltd. Spice PVR’s launch party was held on Wednesday. Amongst those present were Information and Broadcasting Minister Priya Ranjan Das Munshi, business man B.K. Modi and tennis-player turned producer Vijay Amritraj.

Parsvnath to develop mall at Greater Noida
Realty major Parsvnath Developers Ltd today said it has won the bid from Greater Noida industrial Development Authority to develop a shopping mall at an investment of Rs 160 crore. The estimated cost of the project to the company, including land, would be Rs 160 crore, Parsvnath said in a communique to the Bombay Stock Exchange.
