Fortis in pact with Ansal for medicity in Noida
To cash in on the booming medical tourism business in India, Ansal Properties and Infrastructure (APIL) is learnt to have signed up with Fortis Healthcare for developing a 50-acre medicity project in Greater Noida. Confirming the deal, sources said apart from a 200-bed hospital, the project will also have an adjoining service apartments. This project will be a part of APILs proposed 2,500-acre high-tech city in Greater Noida. Master planning: Punjab govt to do a Noida in Mohali
The Punjab Government has decided to set up a Greater Mohali Development Authority for the development of the proposed 107 sectors in the Mohali Master Plan. Honda to set up second plant in India
Japans Honda Motors has said it will set up a second plant in India, which could involve an investment of $200 million over a period of five years. We are currently expanding the capacity at our Greater Noida facility to 1,00,000 units, following which we will set up a new plant with similar capacity, HONDA Siel India president and CEO M Takedagawa said. Honda currently operates its car business in India through a joint venture - Honda Siel Cars India (HSCI) - where it has invested $200 million.
