Noida, August 2 MP and UP Development Council Chairman Amar Singh today laid the foundation stone of the Noida extension of Metro.
Speaking on the occasion, he announced that the Noida Metro would be extended up to Sector 62. The present plan involves linking of Metro from New Ashoknagar in Delhi to City Centre in Sector 32.
However, Noida officials said the extension to Sector 62 still needs to be worked out and work on that stretch could begin only after the present plan is implemented. Work on the 7.1-km New Ashoknagar-City Centre stretch is all set to begin tomorrow, with the Noida authority promising to wrap up the work on time.

Eye on 09 deadline, formal start to Noida Metro construction
NOIDA : The foundation stone for the construction of Noida Metro line would be laid by MP and UP Development Council Chairman Amar Singh tomorrow.
