Tambe told CNBC-TV18, Jaiprakash Associates is the best company as far as the infrastructure projects are concerned. EBC projects are not much of that company is into. The company is making a decent operating profit of 30%. The debt equity ratio in the company is not very prudent therefore now they are working out to go in for a GDR of something around 400 million. But as far as the fundamentals are concerned they have very good projects in their hands, the Taj Expressway, the land in fact on both sides of the road where they are going to construct integrated townships Noida to Balia, the second project Noida to Agra and in cement also they are adding onto very good revenues because there also the company has made announcements that they are going to enhance the capacity.
He further added, One can stick on to the stock because when the index was 20,000 this went up to a level of Rs 2,000 from Rs 1,000. From a long-term perspective one can hold on and in case if you are financially in a position then buy it out at this level. This is one of the best companies in the infrastructure segment, no other company is as established and has that kind of a reputation what Jaiprakash has got.
