Penchants Food India Private Limited opened its concept food court, The Melting Pot at Shop-In-Park Mall, Shalimar Bagh, New Delhi, recently. The company plans to come up with seven more Melting Point food courts at Vasant Kunj (in Delhi), Vaishali, Noida, Greater Noida (NCR), Meerut and Zeerakpur, near Chandigarh. It also plans to establish a pan India presence after consolidating its position in these locations.
Spread over 20,000 square feet of carpet area on the third floor of the newly built mall, Melting Pot boasts of eight display kitchens, which offer a variety of cuisines, ranging from various regional Indian vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes to international cuisines like Chinese, European and American dishes. The food court also offers a dedicated kids zone (Hungama Kidz), and a pub called AD (After Dusk). It plans to open a night club, in about a month. Guests can expect a relaxed atmosphere, attentive service, private tables, bakery, coffee shop, fine wines and a special kids zone, says Rajiv Mehta, Director, Melting Pot, a unit of Penchants Food India Private Limited.

BPTPs independent floors for Rs16-26 lakh
A couple of days after Tata Housing launched a low-cost realty project which offers houses at below Rs4 lakh, BPTP Ltd, the Delhi-based developer has launched independent floors called Park Elite Floors at very competitive rates of between Rs16.08-25.56 lakhs. Proposal to set up 14 luxury hotels in Noida cleared
NOIDA : THE proposal to set up 14 luxury hotels in Noida by 2009 has been cleared by the Noida Authority Board. The hotels are slated to come up in time for the 2010 Commonwealth Games. The decision was taken at the 136th board meeting of NOIDA Authority which was attended by the Chairman Rakesh Bahadur and CEO Sanjeev Saran among others. Trent draws up investment plan for new hypermarkets
Trent, the retail arm of the Tata Group, has drawn up a Rs. 2,000-crore investment plan for setting up 50 hypermarkets, Star Bazaar, over the next five years, a top company official said. We are launching 50 new hypermarket stores Star Bazaar in the next five years at an investment of around Rs. 2,000 crore, Trents Managing Director Noel Tata told reporters here on Friday. DDA housing scam: 13 property dealers under police scanner
The DDA housing allotment scam appears to be more than what meets eye. According to latest reports, it is believed that the scam is the handiwork of 13 property dealers whose nexus was behind the suspicious allotment of DDA flats. Out of these 13 property dealers, four are being questioned by police and two of them have already been arrested. One of the four is from Narela, while one hails from Jasola and two from Vasant Kunj.
